Don't worry – we're keeping the hot sauce
recipes coming! We love fish recipes because you just can't beat the health benefits of wild caught fish, and salmon is one of our favorites. Spice it up with some hot sauce and it only gets better.
2 tbsp coconut oil
3 tbsp Habanero Hot Sauce
1 (1 1/2-pound) piece wild caught salmon fillet with skin
1/4 cup panko bread crumbs
1 cup brown rice medley
Salt and pepper to taste
1. Preheat oven to 425F.
2. Bring 2 1/2 cups water to a boil. Add 1 cup brown rice and bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer covered for 35 minutes. Remove from stove and set aside.
3. Melt oil, hot sauce, and salt and pepper over medium heat. Set aside.
4. Lightly spray baking tray with coconut oil spray. Place salmon skin side down on a baking tray and season with salt and pepper then brush with sauce. Sprinkle panko crumbs evenly over top of fish, then bake until panko crumbs are golden and fish is just cooked through, 15 to 20 minutes. Plate with brown rice, serve, and enjoy!
