Health and Sex: Getting Ripped AND Laid

1. Exercise
Both cardio and strength training can improve blood flow and increase levels of testosterone, a growth hormone that is linked to arousal. Pumping up blood flow and testosterone levels will help prepare your body for a long night of fun. Yoga is another great tool that allows you to improve your flexibility and get into those positions you've always dreamed of!
Not only is exercise important for physical health, but it also holds many psychological benefits. When you look good, you feel good! Getting in good health is not about the opinions of others. A positive self-body image can give you the confidence you need to rock your partner's world under the sheets.
But that's not all! Working out with your partner (or as we like to call them, swolemate) brings its own health benefits. Don't just take it from us, either – Chris and Maribel LaLanne gave us the scoop on couples fitness; it can benefit your overall relationship as well as your own health.
2. Eat Healthy
What you put in your body has a large effect on your health and sex life. A nutritious diet will not only keep your arteries clean, but also help ensure your libido is at the top of its game. An easy way to stay on track with your nutrition is to invest in a meal management bag. With the variety available, including gym backpacks and messenger bags, there is no reason you shouldn't be eating healthy. Always remember to pack nutrient-rich foods that are low in trans fats, saturated fats, added sugars, and sodium. These unhealthy choices can cause you to become lethargic and in turn lower your libido. Instead, try adding foods high in zinc and arginine to your meal management bag. Zinc assists in boosting levels of the growth hormone testosterone. Because testosterone is also linked to arousal, this chemical will easily increase your libido. To get your daily dose of zinc, try eating foods like oysters or pesto. Arginine, also known as L-arginine, is an amino acid that converts to nitric oxide. This chemical relaxes blood vessels, promoting good blood flow so that blood is able to flow everywhere that's needed! Arginine can be found in many foods including watermelon, nuts, and clams.
